ParkSHINRIN-YOKU - A Japanese term that literally translates to “forest bathing”. In practice it involves a walk in the woods tuning in to all of your senses and the increased good health and well being that can be a result. Your forest guide, Rachel Winters, will help you learn techniques of breathing, relaxation and mindfulness in a natural setting. As a bonus there should be plentiful wildflowers in bloom.

Please bring $5 for the parking fee. Meet at the parking lot on the north side of the Applegate River. We will walk 1-1/2 miles on uneven ground with some  moderate elevation gain. After our walk we will sit by the Applegate River and share experiences. Bring water, snacks, wear appropriate shoes and a notebook to jot down your experiences. Please leave your dog at home!
