Course Description

It's not that hard to grow your own food in the city, at home or in your apartment. Subjects will include self-composting grow towers, vertical pallet planters, fodder systems, raised garden beds, aquaponics, hydroponics, vegetable planting within your landscaping, composting, permaculture, worms and castings, raising chickens, rabbits, quail and Tilapia as protein sources, canning and freezing. Also covered will be various DIY home heating and cooling systems that are capable of lowering your power consumption by over 50 percent. More...
 
"Beyond" Session: Expands on the content in the class starting 4/19, but can also be attended as a stand-alone experience.
