Health Professions Education Coordinator

Biography

My passion is building relationships and helping people achieve success. I began my career working for the Job Council here in the valley where I gained valuable workforce, advocacy, case management, and community partnership experience. I have done volunteer work for Community Works, Southern Oregon Veteran’s Benefit Organization, March of Dimes, and Hearts with a Mission, to name just a few. I came to Rogue Community College (RCC) three and a half years ago helping students achieve success by assisting them in navigating the college and providing academic advising in allied health and other fields of interest. In my current role as health professions education coordinator, I coordinate the basic health care certificate and partnership programs for physical and occupational therapy assistants. In addition, I am the American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center coordinator for RCC, an AHA Training Center, and coordinate the college and community classes for CPR, first aid, and AED training.
