  1. Community observations in early childhood settings are required.
  2. Offered via interactive, two-way video technology.
  3. Requires online component as part of course.
  4. Permission code is required to register. Contact instructor before term begins for more information.
  5. Signature of instructor is required to register. Additional hours required for credit.
  6. Students will work at a children's center or elementary school. Each credit must be completed with a different age group or setting: infant/toddler, preschool, kindergarten or primary.
  7. Criminal history check may be required. See advising guide for instructions. School district placements may require an additional criminal history check.
  8. Mandatory meeting at the beginning of the term. See email or Rogue Online for exact time and location.
  9. Students will volunteer in an early childhood program or elementary school assisting teachers in the classroom.
  10. Additional hours outside of scheduled class time required for credit. See instructor for details.
  11. Offered as a Web-based class over the Internet. Information about Web-based classes and required orientations are at https://roguecc.blackboard.com. All online teachers expect students to participate in the class during the first week of the term. Check the syllabus and course orientation to find out what the teacher expects and by when. Students not participating during the first week may be subject to administrative drop.
  12. Distance learning fee of $30, in addition to regular tuition, will be assessed.
