Who should attend?
The learning experience is designed for an array of students ranging from the participant who may have a business idea and wants to learn about the practical aspects of starting a business, to those who intend to start and run their own businesses as well as potential participants who are already operate businesses, but need assistance with the various aspects of improvement and adding value.
The curriculum includes a variety of business courses that will be taught in an environment that takes students from the "Idea" Stage to "Concept / Product Launch" Stage and beyond. The course will provide a lockstep approach toward becoming a business owner as well as developing overall leadership and business skills. In addition, students have access to a number of resources such as mentors, roundtables, peers, business plan writing tools, and SBDC staff. This provides participants with a holistic approach and necessary support to enable the successful launch of the business venture. The core curriculum can be completed in “Only Eight Weeks” and enables students to develop a “launch-ready” business model.
Class dates and times:
Classes are held on Tuesdays, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
