Adult Basic Education and
General Educational Development (GED®)

I am ready to take the GED testjoin the GED study program

Did you know that more than 95 percent of employers nationwide employ GED® graduates on the same basis as high school graduates in terms of hiring, salary, and opportunity for advancement?

RCC offers Adult Basic Education (ABE) and GED® preparation classes to anyone who does not have a high school diploma or needs to review basic skills and is at least 16 years old. If you are 16 or 17, you must obtain a homeschool notification from Southern Oregon Education Service District (SOESD) to begin classes at Rogue. Please contact one of our learning centers below for more information. The GED® program allows you to earn a high school equivalency certificate by passing the following four tests:

  • Reasoning Through Language Arts
  • Social Studies
  • Science
  • Mathematics
