Practices for Peaceful Living
Personal Enrichment Class
We will be studying some of the most influential peacemakers who have walked the earth, including Mahatma Ghandi, Thich Nhat Hanh, The Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa, Jane Goodall, Martin Luther King and other lesser known peacemakers who have been powerful, positive contributors. We will practice becoming more peaceful within to affect change in the world! As Mahatma Ghandi said, "We must be the change we wish to see in the world." What better time to practice more peaceful, harmonious living?!

Videos will be shown of each peacemaker. There will be dyad and whole-group discussions We will also have brief meditations and some experiential exercises to help us find more peace within.
Deborah Perdue is a local author of gratitude books. As well as authoring several books, she publishes blogs and articles on inner peace and gratitude. She has B.A. degrees from SSU in English and Studio Art. She has taught the popular Paths of Peace class in Grants Pass in 2017 and 2018. Deborah Perdue is also a freelance book designer and publisher. It is her intention to continue to help in expanding more peace and gratitude in this world!
