Women in Wine

red wine pouring into a wine glassWine, and the industry that surrounds it, has long been considered male dominated but will that hold true through the 21st century? Come join us on March 8th, 2019 to celebrate International Women's Day! Winemaker and sommelier Liz Wan will take us through the history of wine, highlighting the many contributions from women the world over. Be part of the conversation as we discuss the aspects that have lead to more and more women exceeding expectations in the wine world and the doors they have opened for our sisterhood. Lecture and discussion will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. with an optional networking, appetizer and wine reception featuring wines from women winemakers throughout our region to follow. Must be 21 or older to register and attend.
