  1. Prerequisites: This is a limited entry course and requires completion of an application process prior to admission. See www.roguecc.edu/EMS for details.
  2. Corequisites: Concurrent enrollment in EMS271, EMS271L, and EMS281 is required.
  3. Additional hours outside of scheduled class time required for credit. See instructor for details.
  4. Additional $250 lab fee required plus applicable college fees.
  5. Students must have current EMT-Basic or Intermediate certification and completion of EMS273 and EMS283 with a "C" or better. Also requires concurrent enrollment in EMS282.

  7. Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in ES131.
  8. Additional $100 lab fee plus applicable college fees.
  9. Class will meet on September 28, October 19, November 2 and 3, and November 16 and 17, from 9a.m. to 4p.m. at the Fire Science Center.
  10. Requires $100 equipment rental charge be paid to the RCC Bookstore and includes firefighter helmet, coat, pants, boots and SCBA.

  13. Offered as a Web-based class over the Internet. Information about Web-based classes and required orientations are at https://roguecc.blackboard.com. All online teachers expect students to participate in the class during the first week of the term. Check the syllabus and course orientation to find out what the teacher expects and by when. Students not participating during the first week may be subject to administrative drop.
  14. Distance learning fee of $20, in addition to regular tuition, will be assessed.
