Following are some services and procedures offered by the Instructional Media Department.

Media Centers

The Instructional Media Services Departments provide instruction support and development for faculty/staff and administration.

Hours of operations

Redwood Campus (Grants Pass) 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Riverside Campus (Medford) 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Table Rock Campus (White City) 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Services Available:
Audio and Video Conferencing

Audio and video conferencing are available for classes and meetings. Priority scheduling is given to classes with meetings available as time and space permits.
Classes to be broadcast via interactive video require advanced preparation. Planning should begin well in advance of the term in which the course will be offered. The planning process should include the faculty member teaching the course, the department head, associate dean, and director of instructional media.

Meetings involving audio or video conferencing should be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Contact Jess McLoud located at Redwood Campus in CH building, x7056 or Mark Petersen located at Riverside Campus G building room 6, x 7720.  

Audio and Video Duplication

Videotape and audiotape duplication is available to faculty and staff for college use only. RCC Instructional Media Services will not duplicate copyrighted materials without written release of copyright.
Tapes can be dropped off at the media centers. Tapes/DVDs/CDs will take at least a 24-hour turnaround time for duplication, depending on the size and length of the material. Please allow for as much time as possible to do your project.  If the project requires large amounts of materials, we may ask for your help in purchasing the raw stock - tapes/DVDs/or CDs.


Binding of manuals, booklets, workbooks, etc is available to faculty and staff. All materials must be for classroom and college use only. RCC Media work request form to be filled out when materials are dropped off at media center.

All Binding requests that are 50 pages or less and in quantities of 25 or less can be dropped off at the Media Center Mondays --Fridays. Binding will be done on Mondays and available for pick-up on Tuesdays.

All other Binding projects require a one-week notice and requestor may need to provide personnel for project completion


Lamination is available to all faculty and staff. All materials must be for classroom or college use. The maximum width is 26 inches with no limit to length. An RCC Media work request form should be filled out when materials are dropped off at the media center. (this service is unavailable at TRC)
Projects can be dropped off Monday through Thursday at the Media Center.  All work will be done on Friday and available for pick-up the next Monday.

Classroom & Event Support
A/V equipment delivery

There is various (tape/DVD/CD players, video projectors, 16 mm, cameras, camcorders, pa systems) media equipment that’s available for faculty and staff use.  Schedule equipment needs at the media centers at least 24 hours before needed in the classroom or for meetings and events.  Every classroom is equipped with a sound system, projector, and podium containing a PC, DVD/VCR, and Document Camera (modern/digital overhead projector). If you need help using this equipment, please contact us to schedule an orientation.

Delivery Board

All AV equipment requests are scheduled 24 hours before needed. Requests are filled on a first-come-first-served basis.
