Rogue Online (powered by Blackboard Learn) is RCC’s learning management system for online classes. Telecourses and blended courses also use Rogue Online as a way to deliver, receive, and grade student work.

How to Request Blended (Hybrid) Courses

If you’re teaching an in-class course but want online content within Rogue Online, you must notify Rogue Online to build a course shell each term.

To send notification:

  1. Log in to Faculty Resources
  2. Under the Rosters heading, click on Class
  3. Click the term of the course
  4. Click the course ID
  5. Click Send Course to Rogue Online
  6. Repeat this process for every section of every course you wish to enhance with online content

You will be notified as soon as the course is created.

How to Find Rogue Online Training

A self-paced online training course is available to everyone with a Rogue Online account. If you would like to be added to this online training, please send a request to Josh Ogle.

In-person training is typically done one-on-one. Riverside and Table Rock faculty, contact Casey Nolen. Redwood faculty, contact David Snell.

The Media Department has recently added another series of streaming videos to our catalog - suitable for use in both in-class and online learning environments. The CRM Learning catalog has a strong business/management/ethics slant to its programming but also provides videos that may suit a wider audience.

NOTE: Before you can view the videos, you will have to register at the site by providing your first initial and last name as the username (the same as your RCC login) and creating a password. Once logged in, you will have access to all titles in the CRM Learning Catalog.

If you have existing materials (VHS/DVD) that you wish to use in your online course, contact Josh Ogle for technical/copyright assistance in transferring content to the Windows Media Streaming Server.
