Manufacturing/Engineering Technology Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Technician Certificate and Manufacturing/Engineering Technology AAS
- Operate, setup, and program manual and CNC mills and lathes to print specifications.
- Interpret and create mechanical blueprints to industry standards.
- Follow, develop, and troubleshoot manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Demonstrate the ability to adhere to personal and industry safety standards to protect personnel and equipment.
NOTE: The CNC Certificate is really the first year of the AAS degree. There is no qualitative difference between the PLOs for the one-year certificate and the two-year degree. The differences would be in the level of mastery expected.
