Turnitin for Faculty
Access to Turnitin is available to all RCC faculty.
Turnitin is an online service that provides:
- Similarity Reports – potential plagiarism detection using pattern detection software.
- Feedback Studio – feedback tools for student submitted essays, like customizable drag & drop comments, rubrics, grammar check software, and ability to record voice comments.
- Grade Book –record student grades and attendance for class.
How to create an account in Turnitin:
- Email librarian@roguecc.edu with your @roguecc.edu account.
- You will receive an email from Turnitin with a link to continue setting up your account.
- Create a class in your Turnitin account.
- Create an assignment for your class.
- Give your students the class ID number and the class enrollment password.
- Students will then go to www.turnitin.com and create their own account, using the class ID and enrollment password.
